Power of Hope unleashes the positive potential of youth through arts-centered multicultural and intergenerational learning programs that value community, self-awareness, leadership and social change.
A Call to Youth Who Care About the World!
We offer week-long summer gatherings in western Washington and British Columbia. Dates are June 29-July 5 (Washington); July 30-August 5 (Washington); August 2-9 (Cortes Island, BC) August 12-19 (Cortes Island, BC). We also will be offering two sessions of our new Wild Hope environmental leadership program at Mt. Baker, WA July 17-23 and at Powell Lake, BC August 22-28.
All of our summer gatherings are high-energy, fun opportunities to say it with the arts, hike, swim and hang out in nature, explore issues you care about, learn from diversity, gain new leadership skills, make your voice heard and have a great time in the process.
The Power of Hope gatherings are coordinated by a talented and diverse staff of artists, musicians, writerse, actors, naturalists, community activists and more who work with youth to create a strong, supportive and heart-centered community.
At the Power of Hope, you'll experience what it's like to just be yourself and feel supported by a creative community of all kinds of people. We invite you to join us, just as you are, and be willing to surprise yourself! |
